Coastal Hub is an unofficial, independent monitoring platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to:

• The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI)
• The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA)
• His Majesty's Coastguard
• Any other emergency service or government body

Not for Emergency Use

This service must not be relied upon for safety-critical or emergency purposes.

• Audio feeds may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable
• Alerts may be delayed or not delivered
• The service may experience downtime without notice

In an emergency, always call 999 and ask for the Coastguard. Monitor VHF Channel 16 directly on a marine radio for real-time safety communications.

Radio Communications

The radio audio available through this service consists of open marine VHF transmissions on publicly licensed frequencies. These communications are unencrypted and broadcast for operational purposes. The service does not intercept private or encrypted communications.

Alert Delays

Pager and DSC alerts may be delayed depending on your account type. Only verified crew members receive alerts in real time. Non-crew users may experience delays of up to 10 minutes. Alerts should be treated as informational only.

Accuracy of Information

We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided through this service. DSC decodings, pager messages, and radio audio are processed automatically and may contain errors.

Limitation of Liability

Coastal Hub and its operators are not liable for any damages, losses, or consequences arising from your use of this service, including but not limited to:

• Missed or delayed alerts
• Inaccurate or incomplete information
• Service unavailability
• Decisions made based on information from this service

This service integrates with third-party platforms including Rdio Scanner, PagerMon, and Pushover. These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the operation or content of these third-party services.
